So there's this steak place in Central I've been wanting to try. I heard and saw (thanks again Instagram) that the steaks were pretty good. So some of the Sugar* girls and I got together and feasted at Porterhouse by Laris in LKF.
Seafood Platter - fresh and tasty, came with loads of sauces - bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it if you like seafood.
Romaine Salad, pretty standard, but it was tasty
Sirloin Steak - cooked rare - it was a very good cut of meat. However, we ordered a few steaks and one of them came - and it was not cooked rare! Omg drama! They rectified it straight away and it was of course, delicious.
Yeah that's rare enough now.
Mac and Cheese, like if you don't like mac and cheese, something is wrong with you. This one was more creamy than cheesy - but I loved it all the same.
Sweet Potato Fries - really good fries, would deff recommend getting these!
Portobello mushroom - very buttery and melt in the mouth texture
Asparagus with Brown Butter - tender and a must with steak I think
AND the resturant is pretty!
*Sugar is an app which I am a brand ambassador for here in Hong Kong. They started in Singapore and are now looking to spread all over SE Asia and also to Europe, helping people find hidden gems in each city.
I will be going back to Porterhouse, that's for sure. For more and different cuts of steak. Oh, and chips.
